It all started a few weeks ago when Justyn's dentist told us Justyn should see an orthodontist. After a meeting with the orthodontist, it was confirmed Justyn's mouth needed some assistance. So a palate expander was installed.
Sixteen days of adjustment later and that phase is all done! Whew. Now we leave it in there for nine months.
In a week or so Justyn goes back to the orthodontist to see if braces can be installed on Justyn's top front teeth. These teeth have a big gap between them now. All a result of the palate expander.
Justyn, you have given your dad a glimpse of what true courage means. You faced the fear of the unknown, you suffered through the initial pain, and you've completed this sixteen days like a champ. Congratulations, my son!
